PA Youth Camp

Crafts, woodworking, hiking, fishing, campfires, horseback riding and more are just part of this exciting faith-based venture!  Day Camp for elementary-aged kids, and overnights for junior and senior-highs are in August, but “Camp” is an all-year ‘round experience!  While you’re at camp, you’ll meet, and be responsible for the care of, some animals.  You’ll not only “meet and greet,” but have a chance to see what it’s like to care for and bond with some of our animal friends!

Other activities include nature talks, archery, outdoor lore, camp fires and late-night visits from a mysterious musket-wielding mountain man by the name of Chestnut Pete, who tells us about life on the Pennsylvania frontier!

Camping isn’t all there is to the PA Youth Camp!  During the rest of the year, there are picnics, hay rides, barn dances, overnight retreats, and other activities to keep busy and stay in touch!  And – it’s all FREE!

This year’s Camp will be at Penn Roosevelt Park June 24 to July 1, 2009.
